Jesus often speaks of the Father, in whom we should have faith and whose love we should experience. When we were small, our earthly fathers were figures of awe who knew and could do anything. Whether we are 6, 16 or 60+, we are still the Father’s children.

Let me lie back
With my head on your chest
In you let me find
My peace and my rest

Let me sit on your knee
With your arm ’round my shoulder;
Keep me ever near, even
As I grow older

Let me hold your hand
When I stumble, when I fall;
Keep me humble,
Be my all in all.
